Music and Lyrics

Driving around the hood after picking up my younger brother from school today, I heard the song "With You", composed by Chris Brown. I decided to write a little something some that I believe are some lyrics that make you go Hmmmm. Well, for me at least.

1.- Chris Brown/With You "You're like Jordan's on a Saturday." OK. Can someone please explain to me if this line means more than what it says. It's like, "Thanks, how flattering because Jordan's are THEE best to wear, especially on F*cken Saturdays."

2.- LL Cool Jay/I Need Love "I'll love you more than a man who's ten feet tall." This is kinda gross. Is it because tall guys are tall in other areas which will probably satisfy the lady LL is 'courting'? Or is because he's a tall guy and the bigger the person is the bigger the love? I dunno. (Scratches forehead).

3.- One Voice/Here I Go "Lost and scared as i can be, can't help thinking of the mystery that i shared in my first love, like a pair of mismatched gloves." I know it wasn't One Voice/Voice 5 who originally sang this song, but I couldn't remember who it was. Anyway, mismatched gloves are not a mystery. The real mystery is why do I always lose my left sock? I swear, I can never find them.

That's all I can think of at the moment, I know there's a plethora.

I decided to go public with my blog. I know I emailed my friends this link and posted a "friends only" blog on my myspace. So whatevs. I don't really give a flying fudgesicle.
