happy monday, weekend recap.

no one likes being alone. or at least i don't. mom and brother are leaving for the motherland. should i go? blah. i hate this whole business venture thing. granted its to have a better lifestyle, but it's separating me from my family. whatever. no need for a sob story on a monday.

friday:
.-suppose to watch batman, but plans didn't follow through for whatever reasons. it's all good!
.-hung out with nicholas.
.-we had a late dinner with a couple of brewskis at asian bistro.

saturday:
.-congrats to my girl, tiffany (the perfect example of brains and beauty) on receiving her masters! i love you, baby! let's git it! haha.
.-woke up @$$ early to go to the Healthy Eating Campaign in the Nasty.
.-ran into bryan spencer aka spanky lanky at the event. i got him on board for the festival marketing committee so i look forward to working with him.
.-pho with nicholas.
.-jay jones' baby shower at the obana's residence. such a beautiful and outgoing family!
.-went home around 10 and knocked out. i was so sleepy. i was debating on whether to go to hard rock to celebrate for tiffany's accomplishment, but i figured she was already gone!

sunday:
.-gym time! ran into gerry who pretty much put me shit to shame with his iron man routine. i swear that guy is like a freak of nature.
.-errands with grandma labao! that included going to wal*mart in the Nasty and hitting up starbucks off of plaza blvd.
.-church.
.-family dinner at the labao's. chicken was off the chains!!!
.-ice cream cake. yum!
.-macario household.
.-drive away for my "week" getaway.

so does that fill you in right there? i decided to leave for the week so i can recharge my battery. i want to watch mama mia, batman, and i have yet to watch sex and the city.

which reminds me, nordstrom anniversary sale was cool. i didn't really buy anything except for a palette from mac and a scarf. both of them were not on sale, but it was nice to see the new fall line. nothing i'm dying to buy right away because the sale goes on til aug. 4.

anticipate slouchy ankle boots, grays, plums, and animal print with a pop of color come fall!!!
