Take for instance shoes hanging on a telephone wire. It usually means you in the cutty around the neighborhood pusher, around gang territory, or simply some a-hole threw some kid's shoes on the wire to punk him.
Not very likely you'll see a pair of Nike Air's hanging around telephone lines near track homes. Shoes dangling on a wire are typically found in the inner city or barrio.
The Nasty. My brother and I were talking about how it's almost taboo to call National City "The Nasty" if you are not from National City or from a neighborhood that is around the same caliber (or lack thereof). It's almost like non-black people using the N word as a term of endearment to their friends. Some people just don't appreciate it.
Just like how I don't appreciate certain people from Lakeside calling Chula Vista "Chula Juana" or Plaza Bonita "Plaza Burrito". Only we can call it that.
Liquor store, church, liquor store, chicken shack, liquor store, church, liquor store, check cashed.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
